This research aims to understand feminine's representations in trajanic literature, by feminist and gender theories, between 62 AD - 113 AD. These representations are analyzed with the aim of promoting a historiographical review on the Roman women. The main objective is to analyze the representation of social and cultural roles exercised by roman women, being these compiled by men, under the assumptions of a patriarchal and masculine society

Essa pesquisa visa compreender as representações do feminino em Plínio, o Jovem, a partir da perspectiva das teorias feminista e de gênero, produzida entre 62 d.C. até aproximadamente 113 d.C. Essas representações são analisadas com o intuito de promover uma revisão historiográfica sobre as mulheres romanas. O principal objetivo é analisar a representação dos papéis sociais e culturais exercidos pelas mulheres romanas, sendo essas elaboradas por homens, sob os pressupostos de uma sociedade patriarcal e masculina
