Neste trabalho de conclusão de curso pretende-se inicialmente traçar um breve histórico sobre a infância, observando como sua concepção foi se modificando ao longo dos tempos até chegar à atualidade, em seguida, será contextualizada a infância e sua relação com a imagem, ou seja, como esta é narrada a partir de imagens e frases vinculadas a elas compartilhadas diariamente em uma rede social de comunicação acessada em todo o mundo, o Facebook. Buscou-se identificar o modo que essas imagens nos apresentam a infância atualmente, tendo em vista a existência de uma dominação Estética sobre as pessoas, que no sentido filosófico do termo significa aquilo que afeta os sentidos, sendo assim, concluiu-se que pelas imagens podem-se produzir emoções Estéticas, já não basta utilizar as crianças para atrair o consumo, mas agora é possível vender modos de viver, modos de ver e moldar a infância. Para isso foi feito uma coleta de materiais nesta web site, e para dar suporte teórico ao trabalho também foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, usando para o embasamento da pesquisa as teorias dos pensadores Walter Benjamin, Foucault, Phillipe Ariès, René Schérer
