Apontamentos para uma reflexão sobre a pesquisa em saúde mental no contexto da reforma psiquiátrica

This paper is a contribution to the "IV Journey Research in Psychology: current challenges in the practice of psychology." The goal of this paper is to present some notes to produce reflections on research and the production of knowledge in the field of mental health in the context of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform. Starting from two stories narrated by Ruben Alves, is intended to reflect on the characteristics of the current scenario of contemporary society and the role of knowledge production. These reflections will lead to a brief analysis of the impasses of scientific rationality. At the end, will be analyzed the context of psychiatric reform, his proposal of paradigmatic transition and will be presented some themes that guide the production of knowledge in this scenario.

O presente texto é uma contribuição do autor para a “IV Jornada de Pesquisa em Psicologia: Desafios atuais nas práticas da Psicologia” e tem por objetivo apresentar apontamentos que possam produzir reflexões sobre a pesquisa e a produção de conhecimento no campo da saúde mental no contexto da Reforma Psiquiátrica brasileira. Partindo de duas histórias narradas por Rubem Alves, que servirão como fio condutor do artigo, reflete-se sobre algumas características do cenário atual da sociedade contemporânea e o papel da produção de conhecimento. Estas reflexões introduzem uma breve análise sobre os impasses da racionalidade científica. Finaliza-se analisando o contexto da Reforma Psiquiátrica, sua proposta de transição paradigmática e apresentam-se alguns temas que norteiam a produção do conhecimento neste cenário.
