O Panorama (1837-1868): história de um Jornal

O Panorama foi lançado em Lisboa, no dia 6 de maio de 1837, pela Sociedade Propagadora de Conhecimentos Úteis, fundada, naquele mesmo ano, com a finalidade exclusiva de publicar um periódico de conteúdo enciclopédico, literário e instrutivo que fosse bem aceito por todas as classes de cidadãos. Considerado o paradigma da imprensa romântica portuguesa, com ele inicia-se e encerra-se o movimento romântico em Portugal. Nosso objetivo neste texto é refletir sobre a publicação desse periódico, identificar os aspectos mais relevantes que envolvem o seu projeto editorial, sua apresentação gráfica, a transferência de editor (proprietário), bem como apresentar ao pesquisador e estudiosos da imprensa literária de língua portuguesa uma leitura sobre a publicação desse importante jornal.
