A ética ambiental na produção teórica (dissertações e teses) em educação ambiental no Brasil

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender as abordagens ao tema “ética ambiental” pelas teses e dissertações brasileiras em Educação Ambiental, bem como caracterizar os contextos de produção das pesquisas acadêmicas em Educação Ambiental que façam referência à “ética ambiental”. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, que se insere no âmbito de um projeto interinstitucional, do tipo “estado da arte”, tendo este projeto o objetivo de mapear a produção teórica (teses e dissertações) em Educação Ambiental no país. O corpus documental desta pesquisa é composto por dezessete teses e dissertações brasileiras em Educação Ambiental que fazem referência à “ética ambiental” constantes no “banco de teses” da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). A análise foi realizada tendo como referência a “Análise de Conteúdo”. Primeiramente, buscou-se caracterizar a ética enquanto campo do conhecimento, com suas especificidades, bem como abordar algumas discussões a respeito da relação ética entre sociedade e natureza por meio de diferentes referenciais. A seguir, foram realizadas algumas reflexões sobre a Educação Ambiental e a formação moral. Foram mapeados os contextos de produção das pesquisas, a partir de seus resumos, considerando os dados institucionais, “Contexto Educacional”, “Área Curricular” ou “Área de Conhecimento”, “Público Envolvido”, “Tema Ambiental” e “Tema de Estudo”. The main objective of the present study is to understand the approach of the “environmental ethic” theme by the Brazilian thesis and dissertation on environmental education, as well as to characterize the contexts of production from the academic researchers in Environmental Education that make the reference to the “environmental ethic”. It is a research of qualitative nature that it inserts in the context of an inter institutional project, as such “state of the art”, having the project the objective of mapping the theoretical production (thesis and dissertations) in environmental education in the country. The documentary corpus of this research was composed of seventeen Brazilian thesis and dissertations in environmental education that make reference to the “environmental ethic” which are at the “thesis bank” of the “Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES”. The analysis was performed having as reference the “content analysis.” First, the ethic was characterized, while the knowledge field with its specificities, as well as to approach some discussions related to the ethical relation between society and nature as means of different references. Following, some reflections were made about the environmental education and the moral education. The production contexts of the researches were mapped, from the abstract, considering the institutional data, “educational context”, “curricular area” or “knowledge area”, “involved public”, “environmental theme” and “study theme”.
