Interview with Hendy Hendrata

Hendy Hendrata is an Indonesian who came to Australia as part of the Colombo Plan. He studied at the University of Sydney in 1955-58, and then studied at Melbourne University in the 1960s. He studied aeronautical engineering initially in Sydney, before shifting to Commerce when he moved to Melbourne and he completed a Bachelor degree in this field. During this time he also travelled, spending time in parts of Europe, and worked for various radio broadcasters. The interview was conducted in English by Dr. Jemma Purdey of Deakin University on 12 May 2014. This set comprises: a recording of the interview, a photograph, and a timed summary.
