| Resumo |
In some mental illnesses the behavior to be understood suggests explanation in terms of motivational states that hold of the patient. I have demonstrated in this dissertation that there are no reasonable grounds to prohibit this style of explanation and that it has a potential place within contemporary psychological frameworks. |
