Social support and schizophrenia: comparison between Singapore and China

Social support and family functioning impact on the psychosocial functioning of people with schizophrenia in Western contexts. This thesis explored whether these factors impact in the same way in Singapore and China. The findings suggest that cultural values need to be considered in psychosocial interventions for people with schizophrenia.
