Defining corruption in business

Resumo

This paper proposes a new definition of corruption that includes as a part of the definition the potential harm that corruption originating from business decisions can cause. The purpose of this paper is to enlarge the scope of corruption research and encourage future research to consider the role of business and managerial decision-making in corruption in addition to the prevalent focus of corruption research on the public official.<br />
