Resumo

This chapter will first briefly outline the definition and impact of corruption amongst the countries and communities alike. Next, it will look at some examples of corruption amongst both public and private sector and some of the measures undertaken by the decision makers to address this issue. Currently there is limited information about steps implemented by the companies and individuals in the private sector and this will be echoed in the chapter. The chapter will conclude by recommending measures that can be adopted by practitioners to alleviate the challenge of corruption.<br />
