Participação da família na gestão da Escola : um estudo nas Escolas Públicas Municipais de ensino fundamental de Santa Luzia do Itanhi – Sergipe

Esta pesquisa destinou-se a estudar e analisar a política da Gestão Democrática com ênfase na “Participação da Família” nos processos decisórios da escola. Enfoques sobre esse tema é concernente à aprendizagem, onde se busca conhecer as influências da interação das famílias com a escola e o impacto dessa relação na aprendizagem. O processo da democratização e descentralização contribui muito para a formulação de estratégias políticas visando à participação, ou seja, garante essa participação através de representações que os pais fazem nas instituições como Associações de Pais e Mestres, Conselhos Escolares e outros, como processo fundamental para fortalecer as lideranças escolares e a gestão democrática e participativa nas unidades de ensino público. Sem esquecer que quando se fala em comunidade escolar, além dos segmentos de alunos, professores e funcionários envolvidos (comunidade externa) está falando de todo um segmento de pessoas posicionadas no entorno das escolas, dedicando-se às mais variadas atividades, e, com especial ênfase, está se referindo às famílias desses alunos. Em linhas gerais, a lógica da gestão é orientada pelos princípios democráticos, caracterizada pelo reconhecimento da importância da participação consciente e esclarecida das pessoas nas decisões das atividades escolares. A pesquisa foi extensiva investigando 4 escolas, sendo 2 da zona urbana, 2 da zona rural, estendendo-se aos conselhos escolares com participação em reuniões, assembléias, entrevistas e momentos de observação durante 4 meses. Neste sentido, os Conselhos Escolares e entrevistados, afirmam a importância da participação na Gestão Escolar, contudo, ainda faltam requisitos técnicos para se consolidar um trabalho mais efetivo de participação. Os resultados também apontam à necessidade de repensar a formação e capacitação dos gestores, voltada para a promoção de uma cultura de reflexão, crítica e assimilação de idéias, associadas à ação, pelo conjunto dos que fazem à realidade escolar, contemplando a relação entre Escola e Família.

This research hás destined to study and analyse the politics of Democratical Management with emphassis in the “Participation of Family” in processes of decision at school. Ter focus about the same theme is concerning to the learning. Where one’s chasing to know the influences of the reciprocity in the families with the school and the impact in this relation in the learning. The processo f the democratization and decentralization contribute enough for the formulation of political estrategies aiming to participation thourgh the presentations that the parents use to make in the instituitions like masters and parents in association. Advices of school and others like fundamental process to fortify the leads of school, the democratic management and the participation in the units of public teaching. No fogetting when one’s speaking about community of school beyond the segments of students, teachers and employees envolved (outside community) it is speaking about all one segmento f people positioning aroud the school, dedicating to the most diversified activities and with special emphasis, it’s referring to the families thase students. In general lines, the sense of the management is directed by the democratic principles, characterized by the acknowledgement of importance from concious and activities at school. The research 4 schools, being 2 from urban zone, 2 from rural zone, extending to the advices of school, with participation in the meetings, assembley, interviews and moments of observation for 4 months. In this sense, school advices and interviewed ones, affirm the importance of the participation in the school management, however, it misses still teahnical needs to consolidate a work more effective of participation. The results also indicate a need to think again the graduation and the competency of the managers, directed to the promotion of a culture from reflection, criticism and comprehension of ideas, associated to action by the group from the ones who makes the reality of school, seeing the relation between school and family.
