Suomenkielisen oppimateriaalin koostaminen ohjelmistotestauksen perusteita käsittelevälle kurssille

Ohjelmistotestauksen merkitys ja testausosaamisen tarve ovat lisääntyneet sen myötä, kun ohjelmistojen koko on kasvanut ja toteutus monimutkaistunut. Testaustaidot kehittyvät parhaiten käytännön kokemuksen kautta mutta testausosaamisen perusta ja edellytykset käytännön taitojen kehittymiselle rakentuvat testauksen keskeisten avainasioiden, näkökulmien ja käytäntöjen teoreettiseen tuntemukseen ja ammattisanaston hyvään hallintaan. Tässä raportissa kuvataan Lappeenrannan teknilliselle yliopistolle tehty työ, jonka tuloksena koostettiin suomenkielinen oppimateriaali uudelle, keväällä 2015 kurssitarjontaan lisätylle opintojaksolle Ohjelmistotestauksen perusteet.

The importance of the software testing has increased along the size and complexity of the software products have expanded. The best practice to develop testing skills is to get experience in the real world projects. Nevertheless the prerequisite and foundation for the know-how is based on the theoretical knowledge of the core concepts, viewpoints and methods that constitute the software testing. This report represents the construction of the learning material that covers the software testing basics. The work was done for Lappeenranta University of Technology and the main purpose was to accomplish a practical material that could be used in a new testing course during the spring semester in 2015.
