Presentation at Open Repositories 2014, Helsinki, Finland, June 9-13, 2014 General Track Papers and Panels Repositories face an increasing volume and diversity of content to manage for the long-term, which requires the integration of digital preservation tools and techniques with repository environments. Community collaboration to develop open and shared solutions is a necessary response to the challenges, but requires active engagement from institutions of all sizes to consolidate learning and build trust in proven approaches. Current state-of-the-art will be presented contrasting requirements emerging at various scales of repository operation, best practices and solutions from leading-edge research projects, and opportunities for ongoing collaboration. |
