Poster at Open Repositories 2014, Helsinki, Finland, June 9-13, 2014 Posters, Demos and Developer "How-To's" This 24x7 presentation will describe a migration from ContentDM to Fedora (Islandora) completed by the University of Toronto Scarborough’s Digital Scholarship Unit, using CONTENTdm’s tools for data export and CONTENTdm’s API to download derivatives. This move also included a migration into standards-based, structured metadata, the addition of better controls for archival formats, storage, and the creation of new workflows for digitizing collections. This presentation will touch on the migration process, focusing on how repository managers can leverage CONTENTdm’s native toolset to complete the manipulations required to export content for ingest into Fedora. |
