For life science literature, Europe PubMed Central provides web services that offer, among others, reuse of metadata, full texts, citation information and links to molecular databases on the article level. This Hands-On demonstrates how theses sources can be reused to enrich institutional repositories. At the same time, links to Open Access copies in the local domain that are not available in Europe PMC can be made accessible within Europe PMC. Applications developed and used for this task at Bielefeld University are freely available. |
