Presentation at Open Repositories 2014, Helsinki, Finland, June 9-13, 2014 EPrints Interest Group Presentations This presentation will give some insight into BORIS, the Bern Open Repository and Information System (http://boris.unibe.ch/). After a year of planning and configuration the EPrints based repository went live in 2013. The talk will highlight some specific customizations, like the contributor interface where repository users can lookup up authors of repository items in the official staff directory or the import from and export to the CRIS-Tool (FACTScience) of the University. It will also reflect the organizational setup (EPrints Services, University Library and IT-services). Eventually it will also give some outlook to upcoming features and ideas (like project and funder information, ORCID sync) to further improve the usability of the repository. |
