The Office of Publications, responsible of publishing and archiving the EU legislation, has adopted recently an open, semantic information system based in Fedora as core repository. Some slides will show figures on the big data that Fedora is dealing with. Also, a few problems experienced during the data migration, mainly performance issues, will be discussed: how they were detected, analyzed and eventually (and successfully) solved. As the legal constraints for the publications were modified over time, so were our needs concerning the system. Finally, an overview of the software architecture will be presented, as long as the current hardware configuration that is being deployed on.
