Portfoliot palveluiden hankinnoissa

Hankintoja on luokiteltu portfolioiden avulla vuosikymmenien ajan. Perinteisesti portfoliot eivät ole tehneet suurta eroa sen suhteen luokitellaanko tavaroita vai palveluita. Hankintoihin keskittynyt kirjallisuus on kuitenkin viime vuosina alkanut korostaa palveluiden erityispiirteitä hankinnoissa. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli tutkia palveluiden hankintojen keskeisiä piirteitä perehtymällä case-yrityksen hankintoihin. Lisäksi tutkittiin millaisia palveluita case-yritys ostaa ja kuinka palveluita voidaan luokitella portfolion avulla. Tutkielman empiirinen osa suoritettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena. Yrityksen hankintoihin liittyvää aineistoa kerättiin haastatteluiden avulla. Portfolion luokittelun perustana käytetyt mittarit kerättiin yrityksen hankintoihin liittyvästä dokumentaatiosta. Tutkielman lopputuloksena rakennettiin portfoliomalli tietojärjestelmäpalveluiden hankintoja varten.

Contracts have been awarded and classified through portfolios for decades. Traditionally, portfolios do not make a big difference whether the classification is made of goods or services. Procurement literature has recently focused on emphasizing the specific features of services when defining contracts. The purpose of this study was to investigate the procurement of services by studying the key features of the example company acquisitions as a case study. It also examined what kind of services the case study company buys and how these services can be classified within the defined portfolio. The empirical part of the study was carried out as a qualitative study. The company's procurement-related data were collected through interviews of personnel. The indicators used to classify the portfolio were collected from the company's specific procurement-related documentation. The result of this study provides a portfolio model for information system services procurement.
