Suorituskykymittariston kehittäminen sinisen meren strategiaa soveltavaan pk-yritykseen

Strategian toimivuutta voi tarkastella mittaamalla sitä. Suorituskyvyn mittaristolla pystytään parhaimmillaan näkemään, kuinka organisaatio toteuttaa valittua strategiaa ja reagoimaan siihen tarpeen mukaan. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kehittää malli suorituskyvyn mittaristosta tutkimuksen kohdeyritykselle. Kehitetty mittaristo pohjautui balanced scorecardiin. Tutkimuksen kohdeyritys sovelsi sinisen meren strategian ideaa, jota analysoitiin balanced scorecardia vasten. Tutkimus tehtiin kvalitatiivisena. Kehitettyä balanced scorecardia ei implementoitu kohdeyritykseen tutkimuksen puitteissa. Balanced scorecard kehitettiin sinisen meren strategian kautta, mikä muutti merkittävästi sen rakennetta. Uudessa suorituskyvyn mittaristossa korostui sisäisen näkökulman sijaan asiakasnäkökulma. Tutkimus vahvistaa ylimmän johdon sitoutumisen tärkeyden suorituskyvyn mittaristoa kehitettäessä sekä strategiakartan käyttökelpoisuuden, kun strategiaa kehitetään mittareiksi.

The functionality of a companys strategy can be viewed by measu¬ring it. With a performance measurement system companies have the op¬portunity to see how the organization is implementing the chosen strategy. This way they can react to it. The aim of this study was to develop a model of performance measure¬ment system to a case company. The developed measurement system was based on the Balanced Scorecard. The case company was Blue Ocean Strategy-orientated and that theory was analysed against the Balanced Scorecard. The research method was qualitative. The develo¬ped Balanced Scorecard was not implemented to the case company within the framework of the study. The Balanced Scorecard was developed through the Blue Ocean Strategy, which significantly altered the structure of it. The focus of the performance measurement system moved from in¬ternal perspective to a customer perspective. The study confirms the im¬portance of top management commitment when developing a performance measurement system. The usefulness of a strategy map in the develop-ment process was also proven.
