"Luottamus on aika kovaa tässä" - Luottamuksen rakentuminen innovaatioyhteistyössä

Pro gradu -tutkielman tavoitteena on tutkia luottamuksen rakentumista in-novaatioyhteistyössä. Tarkoituksena on selvittää miten luottamus rakentuu ja mitkä tekijät vaikuttavat luottamuksen rakentumisen taustalla. Samalla pohditaan, miten luottamuksen rakentumista voidaan tietoisesti tukea. Lisäksi mietitään luottamuksen merkitystä innovaatioyhteistyössä ja sen roolia innovaatiossa onnistumisessa. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin kvalitatii-visten teemahaastattelujen avulla. Tutkimuksen perusteella saatiin selkeä kuva siitä, miten luottamus raken-tuu innovaatioyhteistyössä, mitkä tekijät sen rakentumiseen vaikuttavat ja miten sen rakentumista voidaan tukea. Innovaatioverkostossa esiintyvä luottamus rakentui osaamisen, identiteetin ja hyväntahtoisuuden varaan ja oli sekä organisaatioiden että yksilöiden välistä. Sen rakentumisessa osaava orkesterointi oli tärkeässä roolissa. Tutkimuksen kohteena ollut kehitystyö ei olisi onnistunut ilman luottamusta ja osin luottamuksen puutteen vuoksi kaikkia tavoitteita ei saavutettu.

The main objective of this Master’s Thesis was to study the trust building in the innovation cooperation. The aim of the research was to study how trust has been made up and which elements have influence behind the trust building. At the same time it was discussed, how it was possible to support the trust building consciousnessly. Furthermore, the meaning of trust for innovation cooperation and the role of trust for the success of the whole innovation were considered. The empirical material was collected through qualitative interviews. The results of the research give a clear picture on how trust is built in the innovation cooperation, which elements influence the trust building and how it is possible to support the building of trust. The trust in the innovation network is based on capability, self-refence and goodwill. There was trust between organizations and persons. In the building of trust the competent orchestration was in an important role. The development work that was in the focus of this research would not have been possible without trust. Partly because of the lack of trust all targets were not attained.
