Materiaalitoimintojen kehittäminen kokoonpano-osastolla

Työn tavoitteena oli yhtenäisen toimintamallin luominen kohdeyrityksen materiaalitoiminnoille tuotannon kokoonpano-osastolla ja kokoonpanoa palvelevissa varastoissa. Toimintamallin tuli kattaa nimikkeiden siirrot ja siirtoihin liittyvät toimet toiminnanohjausjärjestelmässä. Lisäksi toimintamallin tuli vähentää saldovirheitä ja niistä johtuvia osapuutteita ja inventaarioepäselvyyksiä. Nykytilan kartoituksella yksilöitiin oleellisimmat kehityskohteet saldovirheiden eliminoimiseksi. Myös yrityksen lean-implementoinnin vaatimukset materiaalitoimintojen luotettavuudelle oli huomioitava. Kehityskohteiden tehostustoimista luotiin materiaalitoimintojen malli, joka yhtenäistää käytäntöjä ja vähentää operatiivisia saldojen hallinnan haasteita.

The goal for this thesis was to create a consistent procedure for target organization’s material handling methods in an assembly department and in warehouses which serve assembly’s demand. The procedure should include both transfers of the items and the functions in enterprise systems which are associated with the specific transfers. In addition, the procedure should decrease shortages and confusions regarding to stock take which originate from the errors in items’ count. The key functions for development were identified by examining the current processes. Because of the factory’s lean production method, the factors concerning the reliability of the material handling processes were also taken under consideration. The procedure for material handling methods was developed and it unifies policies and decreases operative challenges for managing items’ count.
