Tuotannon tuotetiedonhallintajärjestelmän kehittäminen monitehdasyritykselle

Tämän työn tavoitteena oli kehittää monitehdasympäristöön siirtyneen pk-yrityksen tuotannon tuotetiedonhallintaa. Hajautettu tuotanto ja verkostoituminen oli luonut uusia haasteita ja vaatimuksia tuotetiedonhallinnalle. Teoriaosassa selvitettiin mitä tuotannon tuotetiedoilla tarkoitetaan, mitä osa-alueita on hallittava sekä miten niitä voitaisiin hallita kansainvälisesti verkostoituneen yrityksen näkökulmasta. Näiden lisäksi kartoitettiin ja vertailtiin erilaisia kehittämisvaihtoehtoja. Teorioista luotiin itsearviointityökalu kohdeyrityksen tuotannon tuotetiedon nykytilan kuvausta ja –analyysia varten. Löydetyt kehittämistarpeet priorisoitiin ja valituille kehityskohteille pohdittiin ratkaisuehdotuksia kaksivaiheisen kehittämismallin mukaisesti.

The object of this thesis was to develop the production product data management of a case company that had been shift to operate in a multi-plant environment. The decentralized production and the networking had created new needs and challenges to the product data management. In theoretical part, the production product data, the elements that need to be managed and the control mechanisms are studied from the view of an internationally networked company. In addition, different development options were defined and compared. Basic on the theoretical part – a self evaluation tool was created and it was used in describing and analyzing the current state of production product data management in the case company. The found development needs were prioritized and for the chosen development targets, the solutions were defined and proposed according the two phase development model.
