Toimittajien ja alihankkijoiden hyväksyntä projektiliiketoiminnassa

Työ on tehty Siemens Osakeyhtiön Logistiikka ja Osto yksik6ssa. Tavoitteena oli kartoittaa toimittajien hallintamallin toimivuutta sekä pyrkiä parantamaan toimittajien valintaa. Ostettaessa toimittajilta palveluita toteutettaviin projekteihin toimittajien hallintamalli toimii perustana sille, kuinka toimittaja valitaan ja mitä toimittajan valinnassa on otettava huomioon. Laadukkaaseen lopputulokseen pyrittäessä on erittäin tärkeää, että projektiin saadaan toimittaja, joka täyttää kaikki sille asetetut laadulliset, taloudelliset sekä tekniset vaatimukset. Työ pohjautuu teoriassa esitettyihin projektin määrittelemiseen, hankintatoimeen, toimittajien luokitteluun, yhteisty6n kehittämiseen sekä laatujohtamiseen. Työ toteutettiin haastattelututkimuksella, jossa haastateltiin Siemens Osakeyhtiön viiden eri toimialan projektipäällikköä. Tarkoituksena oli perehtyä toimialojen tapoihin hankkia toimittajia toteutettaviin projekteihin. Tutkimuksen pääpaino oli toimittajissa, jotka toteuttavat sdhk6asennuksia, kaytt6onottoa, suunnittelua, kokoonpanoa sekä rakentamista. Haastattelujen perusteella tutustuttiin toimialojen totutettuihin projekteihin, joita verrattiin haastattelusta saatuihin tuloksiin. Havaintojen perusteella annettiin kehitysehdotuksia, joilla kyettäisiin parantamaan toimittajien valintaa sekä toimittajien hallintamallia.

The work has been done in the Logistics and Procurement Unit of Siemens Company. The aim of the thesis was to chart out how the suppliers' management model works and to try to improve their choosing. When purchasing the suppliers' services for the projects which are to be fulfilled, the suppliers' management model will be the basis for the choice of suppliers and for what is to be taken into account when choosing them. In order to strive for a high quality result it is very important to find for the project such a supplier that can attain all the required standards, such as the qualitative, as well as the economical and the technical ones. The basis of the thesis is formed by the following issues, described in the theory: to define a project, purchasing, to categorize the suppliers, to improve the supplier relationships, the total quality management. The research knowledge was collected by interviewing the project managers of five different fields of Siemens Company. The purpose was to find out the ways the fields used when searching suppliers for the projects which should be fulfilled. The main aspect concerned the suppliers of electrical installations, commissioning, planning, hardware configuration and construction. On the ground of the interviews the fulfilled projects became acquainted and they were compared with the results of the interviews. Based on the collected data suggestions were made, how it would be possible to improve the choice of the suppliers and the model of their management.
