Conceptual Interpretation of LOM and its Mapping to Common Sense Ontologies

Peer-reviewed In this paper we discuss about LOM semantics as result of using ontologies that help to find possible improvements to LOM (extensions and resolution of semantic ambiguities). The paper also presents a mapping between the LOM standard and an upper level ontology that promotes semantic interoperability among heterogeneouslearning systems. |
