Kunnossapitoyrityksen materiaalitoimintojen kehittäminen

ABB Service Oy:n Itä-Suomen alue on maantieteellisesti laaja, toimipisteitä on useita ja ne ovat asiakasyritysten kunnossapidon ulkoistamisen myötä siirtyneet ABB Service Oy:n vastuulle. Samalla asiakasyrityksen kunnossapitohenkilöstö on myös pääosin siirtynyt ABB Service Oy:n palvelukseen, tästä johtuen toimipisteiden toimintatavat eroavat toisistaan.Työn tavoitteena oli ABB Service Oy:n Itä-Suomen alueella sijaitsevien yhdeksän toimipisteen nykytilakartoituksen perusteella analysoida mahdollisuuksia materiaalitoimintojen sekä toimintatapojen yhtenäistämiseen. Lisäksi tavoitteena oli luoda malli, jonka avulla yksittäisen toimipisteen kehitystarpeita voidaan analysoida. Toimipistekohtainen toimintojen kehittäminen suoritettiin Lappeenrannan, Outokummun ja Kaavin toimipisteissä.Toimenpide-ehdotuksena esitetään materiaalitoiminnoista vastaavien kouluttamista, toimittajayhteistyön tiivistämistä, huomion kiinnittämistä ostokäytäntöihin sekä yhteisten tunnuslukujen käyttöönottamista ja säännöllistä seurantaa. Toimipistekohtaisesti varastojen abc-analyysien suorittaminen, varaosien kriittisyysluokitus sekä tulevan tarpeen ennakointi havaittiin tärkeimmäksi varastointikustannuksia alentavaksi toimenpiteeksi.

The area of ABB Service of Eastern Finland is geographically wide. There are several maintenance sites and they have been transferred with the outsourcing of the maintenance of customer companies to the responsibility of ABB Service. At the same time the maintenance staff of the customer company also has moved into the employment of ABB Service. Due to this the ways of logistics action of sites differ from each other.The objective of this work was to analyse opportunities for the unifying of the material management and ways of logistics action on the basis of the present logistics state of nine maintenance sites located in the area of Eastern Finland ABB Service. Furthermore, the objective was to create a model which can be used to analyse the needs for development of the individual maintenance site. The site-specific developing of functions was performed in the sites of Lappeenranta, Outokumpu and Kaavi.The training for the personel who are in charge with the material management, the developing of the cooperation of the suppliers, paying attention to the buying practices and using of common indicators and also following their development regularly are presented as proposal actions. Spesicically for the maintenance sites the classification of the criticalness of the spare parts and the anticipating the need in advance were found to be the most important measures that reduce storage costs.
