Asiantuntijaorganisaation osaamisen ja tietämyksen kehittäminen : Case: UPM Kymmene Metsä Metsätalous ja maankäyttö

Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tarkastella, mikä merkitys erilaisella osaamisella asiantuntijaorganisaatiossa, mitä osaamista organisaatiossa tarvitaan, selvittää mitä osaamista organisaatiossa on ja kuinka olemassa oleva osaaminen ja resurssit vastaavat tarpeita jatkuvan kilpailukyvyn ylläpitämiseksi. Kohdeorganisaationa tutkimuksessa on UPM-Kymmene, Metsä, Metsätalous- ja maankäyttö -yksikkö, Valkeakoskella. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on luoda pohja organisaation kehittämisohjelmalle.Tutkimuksen teoreettisina viitekehyksinä ovat eri tutkijoiden näkemykset tiedon ja osaamisen johtamisesta, tiedon ja osaamisen johtamisen sukupolvista, tiedon ja osaamisen johtamisen yhdistymisestä sekä näkemykset osaamisen kehittämisestä. Tutkimus osoittaa selkeästiosaamisen ja tiedon tärkeyden ja merkityksen organisaatiolle.

The purpose of this study is to research, what importance the different kind of competence and knowledge has for the expert organisation, what kindof competence and knowledge the organisation considers most needed, what kind of competence and knowledge they have in the organisation and how these competences and resources fit with needs maintaining competitiveness. The case organisation in this study is UPM-Kymmene, UPM Forest, Forestry and Land Management in Valkeakoski. The aim of this research is to create the basis for the development ofthe organisation. The study's theoretical background lies in many different researcher's theories of knowledge and competence management, generations of knowledge and competence management, co-operation of knowledge and competence management and competence and knowledge development. The study shows clearly the importance of the competence and knowledge for the organisation and its competitiveness.
