Terrestrial Trunked Radio - verkossa toimivan reaaliaikaisen Short Data Service - viesteihin perustuvan telemetriasovelluksen ohjelmistokehitys

Tämä diplomityö tarkastelee TETRA-verkon soveltuvuutta turvallisuusviranomaisille tarkoitettuun telemetriasovellukseen, jossa erilaiset mittausdatat ja hälytystiedot kulkevat verkon yli SDS-viestiliikenteenä. Diplomityön tarkoituksena on tehdä kaksi sulautettua ohjelmistoa sekä yksi PCohjelmisto, joita käytetään rakennettavassa demolaitteistossa. Lisäksi selvitetään TETRA-verkon toimivuus ja rajoitukset sovelluksessa eri olosuhteissa ja eri kuormitustilanteissa. Diplomityön teoriaosassa käydään läpi työn määrittely ja ohjelmistonkehitysprosessin läpivienti eri osa-alueilla. Loppuosassa kuvataan tehdyt ohjelmistot erikseen ja yhdessä suunnittelusta toteutukseen, sekä lopullisen järjestelmän testaus.

This Master's Thesis describes the applicability of TETRA network in safety telemetry application, which uses SDS - messages to transfer measurement and alarm information over the network. The purpose of this Master's Thesis is to develop two embedded software and one PC software to run a demo system, which will be built. In addition, usage and constraints of TETRA network in this application under different conditions and network load situations, are considered. In the beginning of this Master's Thesis the specifications of the project and the development process of embedded software in differentsectors are explained. The rest of the document describes the development process of the software used in this project, as well as testing ofthe final system.
