Raportointi- ja suunnittelujärjestelmän käyttöönotto ja kehittäminen

Diplomityö liittyy case-yhtiön raportointi- ja suunnittelujärjestelmän käyttöönottoon ja kehittämiseen. Työn tavoitteena on raportoinnin toteuttaminen uudella järjestelmällä. Diplomityön teoriaosuudessa perehdytään johdon laskentatoimen rooliin johtamisen tukena, business intelligence -käsitteeseen ja raportointijärjestelmähankkeisiin liittyviin haasteisiin johdon laskentatoimen näkökulmasta. Työn empiirisessä osassa kuvataan raportoinnin toteutus uudella järjestelmällä, laaditaan raportointi- ja suunnittelujärjestelmän arkkitehtuurikuvaus, arvioidaan käyttöönottoprojektin onnistumisesta sekä esitetään jatkokehitysehdotuksia. Diplomityö on osa case-yhtiön johdon laskentatoimen kehittämistä ja jatkoa aiemmin yhtiön raportoinnin kehittämistä tutkineelle diplomityölle. Meneillään oleva raportointi- jasuunnittelujärjestelmä -projekti on osa yhtiön laajempaa IT-järjestelmien integraatioprojektia. Näin diplomityö liittyy myös yhtiön tietojärjestelmien kehittämiseen ja uudistamiseen. Diplomityössä rakennettiin case-yhtiön talouden raportointiympäristöä uuteen järjestelmään ja kehitettiin johdon laskentatoimen raportteja. Työssä kehitetty talouden raportointi täyttää raportointi- ja suunnittelujärjestelmähankkeelle asetetut tavoitteet. Raportointi on erilaiset tarpeet huomioivaa, läpinäkyvää ja antaa kokonaiskuvan tarkasteltavasta kohteesta, mutta mahdollistaa myös tapahtumien yksityiskohtaisen tarkastelun. Raportointi perustuu sähköpostin kautta jaettaviin vakioraportteihin sekä käyttäjän itse raportointiportaalissa suorittamaan raportointiin. Talouden seurannan lisäksi työssä laadittiin raportteja teknisen tiedon ja työtuntien seurantaan. Case-yhtiön nykyinen johdon laskentatoimen raportointi toteutetaan työssä esitetyllä järjestelmällä.

This Master's thesis involves the adoption anddevelopment of a planning and reporting system for the case company. The objective is to arrange reporting with the help of a new system. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the role of management accounting in supporting company management, the concept of business intelligence and the challenges of projects on reporting systems from the viewpoint of management accounting. The empirical part describes the implementation of reporting with a new system as well as the architecture of the planning and reporting system, and evaluates the success of the implementation and proposes improvements. This thesis is part of the development of management accounting and continues the research on the development of the company's reporting started in a previous thesis. The current project involving the reporting and planning system is part of the company's IT systems integration project. Therefore, this thesis is also connected with the developmentand renewal of the company's information systems. In this thesis, case company's reporting environment was constructed into the new system and management accounting reports were developed. The reports were mainly connected with financial control and fulfilled the objectives set for the reporting and planningsystem project. The developed reports take different needs into consideration, are transparent and present an overall view of the object examined, but also enable detailed examination. The reporting is based on standard reports distributedby e-mail and reporting by the user in the reporting portal. In addition to accounting reporting, the thesis work involved the preparation of reports for the control of technical information and working hours. Company's management accounting reporting is currently carried out on the system presented in this thesis.
