El Sufragi femení a la premsa d' Osona (1931-1936)

La proclamació de la Segona República va obrir un ampli ventall de possibilitats a les dones catalanes i els va crear noves expectatives. D’entrada, la Constitució de 1931 els va atorgar el dret al vot en les mateixes condicions que als homes. Aquest article analitza el tractament del sufragi femení a tres periòdics d’Osona: el liberal Diari de Vic, el conservador la Gazeta de Vich i el setmanari obrerista Sembrar, tant des de la perspectiva dels periodistes homes, com de les dones que hi col·laboraven.

Proclaiming the Second Republic opened up a wide range of possibilities for Catalan women and new expectations were created. To begin with, the 1931 Constitution awarded the right to vote under the same conditions as men. This article analyses how the womens’ vote was dealt with in the three Osona newspapers: the liberal “Diari de Vic”, the conservative “Gazeta de Vich” and the workers’ weekly “Sembrar”; both from the perspective of male journalists and the women who contributed.
