Vários percursos diversas identificações : descendentes de migrantes cabo-verdianos no Bairro do Talude - Unhos

The research presented here aimed to analyze the processes of integration of Cape Verdeans immigrants descendants of living in the neighborhood of Talude, Town of Unhos, Municipality of Loures. To analyze the central object of research - the process of integration of descendants of migrants in the neighborhood of Talude we tried to answer the following questions, which reflect the objectives of the research:  What are the paths of socialization the descendants of immigrants: at the family, at school, in employment, in the neighborhood and in other activities?  What is the influence of gender relations in the processes of integration of descendants?  What are the perception the of immigrants descendants living in the neighborhood of Talude in relation to how they are viewed by residents of the Town residents in the neighborhood? And the people or society in general? And what influence these perceptions have in their process of integration? This study consists in two parts: the design of the survey, which is depicted on the reason for the choice of topic, the definition of the topic, research objectives, the method that was used in the course of investigation and the framing of the issue. In the second part, the analysis of data in different pathways: family, neighborhood, school, labor market, in other activities, the influence of gender and image(s). As a general conclusion we can say that there are several factors that contribute to the identification of immigrant descendants (there are no apparent factors that predominate) and the images they have of themselves and the Portuguese society in general are diverse.

A investigação que aqui se apresenta teve como objectivo central analisar os processos de integração dos/as descendentes de imigrantes cabo-verdianos/as residentes no bairro do Talude, Freguesia de Unhos, no Concelho de Loures. Para analisar o objecto central da pesquisa – os processos de integração dos/as descendentes de migrantes no bairro do Talude – procurou-se responder às seguintes questões, que traduzem os objectivos da pesquisa:  Quais os percursos de socialização dos/as descendentes de imigrantes: na família; na escola; no mercado laboral; no bairro; em outras actividades?  Qual a influência das relações de género nos processos de integração dos e das descendentes?  Quais as percepções dos/as descendentes de imigrantes residentes no bairro do Talude em relação ao modo como são vistos pelos moradores da Freguesia não residentes no bairro? E a população ou a sociedade em geral? E qual a influência dessas percepções nos seus processos de integração? Este estudo é composto por duas partes: a concepção da pesquisa, em que é retratado o motivo da escolha do tema, a definição do tema, os objectivos da investigação, o método que foi utilizado no percurso de investigação e o enquadramento do tema. Na segunda parte, a análise dos dados nos diversos percursos: familiares, no bairro, escolares, no mercado laboral, em outras actividades, a influência de género e a(s) imagen(s). Como conclusão geral podemos afirmar que existem vários factores que contribuem para a identificação dos/as descendentes de migrantes (não existindo aparentemente factores que predominem) e que as imagens que possuem de si e da sociedade portuguesa em geral são diversas.
