Visions del Corredor de la Mort

L'objectiu principal d'aquest treball és analitzar si hi ha modificacions i/o canvis en la identitat dels presoners nord-americans quan entren en el corredor de la mort en el període 2000- 2003. En cas afirmatiu, el treball que presento vol esbrinar-ne les possibles causes. L'objectiu secundari és determinar si es pot parlar de l'existència de mecanismes psicosocials i polítics aplicats de manera sistemàtica o bé es tracta d'un seguit de reaccions i hàbits gairebé inconscients de les parts implicades.

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar si se dan modificaciones y/o cambios en la identidad de los prisioneros norteamericanos cuando entran en el pasillo de la muerte en el período 2000-2003. En caso afirmativo, el trabajo que presento pretende averiguar las posibles causas. El objetivo secundario es determinar si se puede hablar de la existencia de mecanismos psicosociales y políticos aplicados de manera sistemática o bien se trata de una serie de reacciones y hábitos casi inconscientes de las partes implicadas.

The main objective of this work is to analyze whether any modifications and/or changes took place in the identity of North American prisoners from the time they entered Death Row in the period 2000-2003. If this was in fact the case, the work I present here attempts to find out what the possible causes for this were. The secondary objective is to determine whether it is possible to speak of psycho-social and political mechanisms which are applied in a systematic way, or whether they are a set of nearly unconscious reactions and habits of the parties involved.
