Report of the Department of Health Cervical Screening Committee

The Working Party was appointed as a committee of experts by the then Minister of Health, Dr John Oâ?TConnell T.D., in October, 1992 to review cervical screening with the following terms of reference: - - To review the implementation of the recommendations of the Interim Report of the Working Party on Cervical  Screening 1988; - To review the general efficacy and cost effectiveness of the operation of the present systems; and - To consider what further cost effective improvements can be made.     Download the Report here
