Práticas de cociabilidade em Monção durante o Estado Novo

A investigação aqui apresentada pontua-se em definir e caracterizar os principais meios de sociabilidade na vila de Monção, sede do concelho homónimo durante o Estado Novo. O estudo centra-se nas décadas terminais do regime ditatorial, décadas de 50 a 70, em razão da maior abundância de fontes. O universo documental compõem-se de fontes manuscritas, impressas e, ainda, testemunhos orais. A investigação permitiu assim reconstruir os universos sociabilitários mais significativos na vila de Monção, bem como apreender algumas das mudanças mais significativas que se evidenciaram no período em estudo.

The porpuse of this investigation is to define which are the fundamental forms and practices of sociability in the town of Monção, between the dictatorship período of Estado Novo. The study focuses on the terminal decades of the regime, the 50’s and the 70’s, because of the most abundant sources. The corpus documental is composed by manuscript sources, printed sources, and still, oral testemonies. This investigation allowed us to rebuild the sociability universe present in the town of Monção as to learn the more significant changes observed in the period of study.
