Esta tese desenvolve três argumentos principais. 1) Os conceitos utilizados para estudar as individuações físicas, através de processos transdutivos simples, podem ser usados para pensar as individuações humanas (Gilbert Simondon). No entanto, quando surgem os humanos, estes processos tornam-se mais complexos e desdobrados no plano da expressão/conteúdo (Gilles Deleuze). 2) Não se pode absolutizar o construtivismo social. Desde o começo, e antecedendo o próprio homem (André Leroi-Gourhan), uma outra individuação emerge: a individuação técnica. Mesmo a ideia de uma fronteira absoluta, em torno de uma essencialidade humana, começa a ser colocada em causa. Deve-se falar da emergência de uma nova espécie "zoológica" em que o orgânico humano se interliga cada vez mais com o inorgânico organizado: a individuação técnica (Bernard Stiegler). 3) Pretende-se caracterizar a individuação técnica na sua permanente actualização, nos seus agencements concretos que interlaçam diversas camadas-estratos: desenhar as linhas e as respectivas forças que atravessam estes agencements, não se ficando por um mapa antropocêntrico (Bruno Latour).

This PhD thesis develops three main arguments. 1) The concepts used to study the physical individuations, by simple transductive processes, can also be used to think the human individuations (Gilbert Simondon). However, the transductive processes, concerning human beings, are more complex and developed in the dimension of the expression/content (Gilles Deleuze). 2) We should not stress only the constructive perspective by which the social is constantly reinforced. Since the beginning of the humanity, even before, another individuation emerged: the technical one (André Leroi-Gourhan). We are living the emergency of a new kind of "zoological" species where the organic human interacts more and more with the organized inorganic: the technical individuation (Bernard Stiegler). 3) I aim to understand some of the characteristics of the technical individuation nowadays, in their “agencements” [agency which assembles humans and non-humans] that link different strata. I want to chart the lines and the respective forces that constitute these “agencements”, refusing an anthropocentric map (Bruno Latour).
