Teatro inserido nas unidades curriculares como forma de ajuda no desenvolvimento de crianças e jovens

Esta tese tem, como principal objetivo, retratar a importância do teatro quando inserido em unidades curriculares e estudar a sua importância para o desenvolvimento de crianças e jovens. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa empírica em que foram avaliados alunos que tinham o teatro presente, durante o percurso escolar. Ao longo desta dissertação, será ainda debatida a importância global do teatro e como este pode ser uma ajuda fundamental para a cura de traumas psicológicos de um individuo (psicodrama). Para além do psicodrama e da importância do teatro na psicologia, veremos também a importância do teatro do oprimido no processo de autoconsciência e no autoconhecimento. Para muitos, quase a maioria, o teatro é visto como uma fonte de entretenimento e uma maneira de levar o espectador a viver uma história através de um coletivo de atores. Mas teatro não é isso, ou pelo menos não é apenas isso. O teatro é mais do que se mostra em palco, mais do que um simples cenário ou guarda-roupa. O teatro é uma arte que permite adquirir um conhecimento que não se aprende nos livros, mas que se sente na pele. Nas crianças e jovens, o teatro tem um papel ainda mais vinculativo. Permite que se crie, desde cedo, a vontade de trabalhar em coletivo, uma maior capacidade de imaginação, argumentação e trabalho sobre a língua.

This thesis has as main object the attempt to portrait the importance of theatre when inserted in curricular unities, and how important it is to the development of children and youth. In order to do this, it was developed an empirical research and analyzed how students who had contact with theatre progressed on their scholar route. On this thesis it will be debated the overall importance of theatre, how it can aid with individual psychological traumas - psychodrama. Also, the importance of oppressed theatre on society and how it helps on self awareness and self knowledge. Too many, almost all, the theatre is perceived as a source of entertainment and a way to take the spectator on a journey through the actors. But theatre is not that, or at least not just that. Theatre is more than what is shown on stage, more than a simple scenery or wardrobe. Theatre is an art that allows knowledge, a kind of knowledge that is learnt on books, but felt on skin. On children and youth theatre as a role even more binding. It allows the growth, from early age, of a will to work with others, of imagination, argumentative skills and language skills.
