Análise do acesso aos cuidados de reabilitação em Angola

RESUMO - Angola é um país em desenvolvimento e dado o baixo número de profissionais na reabilitação e a centralização dos cuidados desta área na capital do país, Luanda, é pertinente caraterizar o acesso dos utentes e perceber em que medida é que a oferta destes cuidados satisfaz as necessidades atuais da população. Sendo assim, este estudo teve como objetivos, avaliar o acesso dos utentes do Centro de Referência Nacional público para Reabilitação em Angola, CMFR, e identificação de áreas prioritárias de ação para promoção de igualdade no acesso. A análise metodológica consistiu na recolha e análise de dados dos utentes que acederam ao CMFR de Setembro de 2014 a Janeiro de 2015 e pesquisa documental abrangente, não-sistemática, sobre equidade e acesso a cuidados de saúde em Reabilitação a nivel internacional e em Angola. Para o tratamento e recolha de dados foram consideradas variáveis sociodemográficas e caraterizadoras do acesso onde se fez a caraterização da população em estudo, análise das variáveis resultantes do acesso ao CMFR através de uma análise de regressão.

ABSTRACT - Angola is a developing country with low number of professionals in rehabilitation and centralization of health care in his capital, Luanda. So it’s relevant to analyse the access of patientes and realize if this administration of care is enought to population needs. This study aimed to evaluate the users access to the National Reference Center for public rehabilitation in Angola, CMFR, and identification of priority action areas in order to promote equal access. The methodological analysis consists in collecting and analyzing data of users who accessed the CMFR since September 2014 to January 2015, comprehensive desk research, unsystematic, on equity and access to health care in rehabilitation at the international level and in Angola. For the data collection and processing were taken into account Economic and Demographic conditions of access to health care. Using a regression analysis was made a characterization of the population under study, and the variables influencing the access to CMFR It is therefore concluded that although only a minority of the population of the provinces have accessed the national reference hospital for rehabilitation; women and children have preferential access; according to the statistical analysis the access to rehabilitative care was independent of province (geographical distance), diagnosis, gender and age (sociodemographic characteristics of the population); depending on the follow-up of the users after the first contact with the hospital (number of consultations with rehabilitation).
