Resumo |
Malaria is one of the most devastating diseases in the world. In Plasmodium endemic regions, pregnant women are among the most vulnerable groups. Pregnancy Associated Malaria (PAM) threatens both maternal and foetal lives. Despite differences between human and mouse placentas PAM mouse models recapitulate key pathological features of human PAM.
