Business intelligence systems offer managerial advantage in a business environment that rapidly evolves, however the accomplishment of its unique capacities and the delivery of overall efficiency much relies on its use. The use of business intelligence systems is closely related to information quality, in a sense that information should meet end user’s needs, providing trust, fast access and reliability. In an attempt to fulfill a research need, it is provided a framework to analyze organizational culture in a sample of medium to large organizations operating in Portugal, and tested potential linkages with individual culture types (e.g. clan, adhocracy, market and hierarchy), and use of business intelligence, trough information quality.
