O sonho: teatro-música experimental

Trabalho de Projeto submetido à Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em TEATRO - especialização em Artes Performativas (Teatro-Música).

O presente trabalho constitui o Relatório do Trabalho de Projeto para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Teatro – especialização em Artes Performativas, no curso de Teatro-Música – pela Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (ESTC) de Lisboa. Este projeto «“O Sonho” – Teatro-Música Experimental» é uma criação/adaptação teatro-musical baseada, principalmente, em duas obras suecas, explorando temáticas de sonho com sentidos ambivalentes, e cujo espetáculo foi apresentado nos dias 6 e 7 de Outubro de 2011 no Grande Auditório da ESTC. A primeira obra é a peça O Sonho (Ett Drömspel) de August Strindberg, e a segunda, o filme, Como se fosse o Céu (Så som i Himmelen – nomeado para categoria de Melhor Filme Estrangeiro nos Óscares de 2005) do realizador Kay Pollak. Esta performance cénica engloba três áreas de artes performativas: Teatro-Música; Teatro e Comunidade; “Espetacularidade” Oriental. O relatório divide-se em três partes. A primeira parte consiste numa breve descrição da conceção do projeto e da adaptação das duas obras suecas (a peça e o filme). A segunda refere-se às três temáticas que acima foram mencionadas, ou seja, às áreas/influências artísticas e teórico-práticas que estão na base analítica deste projeto. O relatório ainda tem, na Parte III, a descrição e reflexão sobre todo o processo de trabalho, as metodologias, desde a fase de preparação, a dramaturgia, os ensaios, o espetáculo, o impacto, etc. até à fase de pós-produção.

ABSTRACT - The present paper constitutes the Report of the Work Project for the Master’s degree in Theater – specializing in Performing Arts, in the Theater-Music course – at the “Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (ESTC)” of Lisbon. This Project «“The Dream” – Experimental Music-Theater» is a music-theatrical creation/adaptation based, mainly, on two Swedish works, exploring themes of dream with ambivalent meanings, and the Show was presented on 6th and 7th of October, 2011, at the Grand Auditorium of the ESTC. The first work is the play A Dream Play (Ett Drömspel) by August Strindberg, and the second, the movie, As it is in Heaven (Så som i Himmelen – 2005 Academy Award Nominee for Best Foreign Language Film) by director Kay Pollak. This scenic performance encompasses three areas of performing arts: Theater-Music; Theater and Community; Oriental “Spectacularity”. The report is divided into three parts. The first part consists of a brief description of the project conception and the adaptation of the two Swedish works (the play and the movie). The second refers to the three themes that were mentioned above, i.e., the artistic and theoretical-practical areas/influences that are in the analytical basis of this project. The report still has, in Part III, the description and reflection on the whole process of the project, methodologies, from the initial preparation, dramaturgy, rehearsals, the show, the impact, etc. to the post-production phase.
