Estudo comparativo da estrutura de betão armado de um edifício dimensionada segunda a actual regulamentação nacional e os eurocódigos estruturais

Com a publicação definitiva dos Eurocódigos e a prescrição da regulamentação portuguesa a qual deverá subsistir pelo menos até 2012, após inicial coexistência, a presente dissertação tem como objectivo analisar e aplicar as prescrições da EN 1998-1 e EN 1992, em edifícios de betão armado e comparar com a regulamentação portuguesa. A aplicação prática desta nova regulamentação, apresenta um enorme desafio, uma vez que algumas prescrições apresentam maior dificuldade de interpretação, tratando a EN 1998-1, a acção sísmica em documento separado, ao contrário da actual regulamentação portuguesa. A aplicação destes Eurocódigos impõe um esforço de análise e complexidade acrescido, exigindo ao projectista, maior disponibilidade quer em tempo, bem como em equipamento de cálculo. Em algumas zonas do País esta norma implica um agravamento significativo de custos. Maiores dimensões dos elementos resistentes, essencialmente em secções de pilares, e, maiores taxas de armadura. Sendo evidente o aumento da segurança que esta norma impõe, exigirá a quem projecta uma grande sensibilidade e conhecimento da matéria em causa, para justificar tais agravamentos, aos donos das obras e promotores imobiliários.

Abstract: The present dissertation has how I aim to analyse and to apply the prescriptions of the EN 1998-1, EN 1992, devoted to buildings from armedconcrete and to compare with the Portuguese regulations. With the definite publication of the Eurocodes and the prescription of the Portuguese regulations which will have to exist up to 2012, after initial coexistence. The practical application of these new regulations, he presents an enormous challenge, once what some prescriptions are of difficult interpretation. So the EN 1998-1, it treats the seismic action in separate document on the contrary of the Portuguese regulations. However for the class (DCL)the effort and complexity will be added, demanding to designer, bigger availability he wants in time, as well as in equipment of calculation. In spite of this standardto implicate a significant aggravation of costs. Bigger dimensions of the resistant elements, essentially in sections of pillars and taxes of frameworks. When there is obvious the increase of the security guard what this standard imposes, it will demand to the one who projects a great sensibility and knowledge of the matter in question, to justifysuch aggravations, to the owners of the works and property promoters.
