Elearning.ul.pt : uma plataforma de e-learning no ensino superior nacional

A evolução das novas tecnologias e a crescente importância que estas têm vindo a assumir na Educação leva a que as instituições de ensino superior tenham que se adaptar a modelos de ensino diferentes, que implicam mudanças diretas e profundas a nível organizacional, pedagógico e social. Em Portugal são já inúmeras as Universidades e Institutos Politécnicos que integram o e-learning e o b-learning nas suas modalidades de ensino. Esta integração não tem vindo a ser pacífica. Existem ainda inúmeros obstáculos à integração eficiente das novas tecnologias da informação e da comunicação nas práticas quotidianas dos docentes/investigadores e consequentemente dos estudantes. O trabalho atualmente apresentado organiza-se em torno das atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio académico desenvolvido no e-Learning Lab da Universidade de Lisboa no ano letivo 2010/2011. O trabalho desenvolvido durante o estágio centrou-se, essencialmente, na concepção de materiais de apoio à prática docente no âmbito do e/b-learning no Ensino Superior e de atividades de intervenção (ações de formação) que culminaram ainda na realização de uma investigação em torno da utilização que os docentes da Universidade de Lisboa fazem da plataforma Moodle, bem como das suas disciplinas alojadas em elearning.ul.pt. A realização deste estágio foi um período de grandes aprendizagens e de crescimento profissional, onde houve a possibilidade de compreender de uma melhor forma os desafios subjacentes à implementação de um programa de e-learning numa Instituição de Ensino Superior.

The evolution of new technologies and the increasingly important role they have been playing in Education make it necessary for Higher Education Institutions have to adapt to different teaching models that imply direct and profound changes at a structural, pedagogical and social level. There are already a large number of Universities and Polytechnic Institutes that integrate e-learning and b-learning in their teaching models. However, this integration hasn’t been peaceful. A large number of obstacles still exist regarding the efficient integration of new information and communication technologies in the everyday practices of teachers/investigators and subsequently students. This paper is structured around the activities performed during the academic internship at the e-Learning lab of the University of Lisbon in the academic year of 2010/2011. The work developed during the this period focused essentially on the design of support materials for teaching in e/b-learning in Higher Education and also training sessions that lead to an investigation revolving around the use that teachers of the University of Lisbon make of Moodle, as well as of their classes hosted at elearning.ul.pt. This internship was a period of great learning and professional growth, allowing for a better understanding of the challenges underlying the implementation of an e-learning programme in a Higher Education Institution.
