<p>Endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF) is a restrictive cardiomyopathy of unknown aetiology previously unreported in Malawi. Six Malawian children (three males) aged between 12 and 16 years who presented with EMF in 2009/10 are described. Five were from the Southern Highlands.</p> |
