Obraz stosunków językowych polsko-niemieckich w historii języka polskiego. Księga sądu wójtowskiego m. Opola z lat 1698-1721 jako językowy wyraz kontaktów międzyetnicznych

Przedmiotem pracy są językowe kontakty międzyetniczne. W pierwszej części dysertacji zrekonstruowano obraz językowych kontaktów polsko-niemieckich zawartych w syntezach historycznojęzykowych i ważniejszych pracach monograficznych. Celem nadrzędnym był bilans i uwspółcześnienie obrazu. W drugiej przeprowadzono analizy językoznawcze na materiale Księgi wójtowskiej w celu sprawdzenia, jak zastosowanie nowego spojrzenia na kontakty polsko-niemieckie wpłynie na językową interpretację faktów językowych manifestujących się w tekstach protokołów polsko- i niemieckojęzycznych. W pracy porównano nieanalizowane dotychczas protokoły niemieckie z omówionymi już protokołami polskimi w publikacji M. Hawrysz Język miejskiej wspólnoty Opola… Podstawy metodologicznej dostarczyły autorce prace S. Borawskiego, w których punktem wyjścia badań historycznojęzykowych są pytania o dzieje używania języka. Na podstawie lektury prac wybitnych przedstawicieli historii języka można obserwować nie tylko przyrost wiedzy o faktach, konkretyzacji pojęć dotyczących językowej materii, lecz także różnice w interpretacji kontaktów polsko-niemieckich. Dzieje się tak, ponieważ stanowisko względem oceny znaczenia tych kontaktów z narodami sąsiadującymi jest silnie uwarunkowane rozumieniem polskiego interesu narodowego. Dotychczasowe ujęcia historycznojęzykowe akcentowały zagrożenie języka polskiego ze strony języka niemieckiego. Tymczasem wspólnota miejska Opola, mimo niejednolitej sytuacji etnicznej, jawi się w badanym okresie czasu jako wspólnota zintegrowana o charakterze niekonfliktowym.

The subject matter of the studies are linguistic trans-ethnic relations. In the first part of the dissertation the presentation of the Polish-German linguistic connections included in the historical-linguistic syntheses and more significant monographic studies was reconstructed. The primary aim was the balance and contemporization of the presentation. In the second part the linguistic analyses based on the material of Księga wójtowska were conducted in order to verify how the application of a new vision for the Polish-German relations would influence the linguistic interpretation of language facts being manifested in the texts of the Polish and German protocols. In the dissertation there was conducted a comparison of not previously analyzed German protocols with the Polish protocols being discussed in the publications by M. Hawrysz Język miejskiej wspólnoty Opola… . The methodological basis was brought to the author by the works of S. Borawski, in which the starting point of the historical-linguistic studies are the questions about the history of using the language. On the basis of the reading of the distinguished representatives of the history of language it is possible to observe not only the increase of the knowledge about facts, the materialization of the concepts of the present language issues, but also the differences in the interpretation of the Polish-German relations. Such a situation is caused by the fact that the position towards the evaluation of the significance of those relations with the neighbouring nations remains under a strong influence of the understanding of the Polish state affair. The previous historical-linguistic depictions emphasized the threat of the Polish language from the German language side. In the meantime the municipal community of Opole, despite a diversified ethnic situation, turns out to be an integrated community of a non-confrontational nature in the period of time in study.
