This paper presents an expanded simulation software package which combinescontinuous system simulation(CSS)program with discrete systems simulationmodules.The enhanced package includes modules for computer control systems,thealgorithm for the solution of the two point boundary value problem,and the algo-rithms for parameter optimization.A new SIMPLX strategy is proposed which speedsup the process of optimization considerably.
