The fish marketing aspect experienced a lot of problems especially night transport charges arising out of expensive repair parts for vehicle owners. This night transport charges were eventually passed on to the fish mongers then to the consumers. There was a night trend of fish being marketed at Tororo, Busia and the nearby towns of Kenya/Uganda boarder in order to barter for essential commodities across the board by the specific license holders.
