Resumo

Reduction of alpha,beta-epoxyketones with diisopropoxytitanium(III) tetrahydroborate in dichloromethane under mild conditions (-78 degrees--> -20 degrees C) provides anti- (or erythro-) alpha,beta-epoxy alcohols in high yields with high degree of chemo- and stereoselectivity.
