The emission of particles in the ultrafine range (<100 nm) from laser printers has not been reported until recently (Uhde et al., 2006; He et al., 2007; Morawska et al., 2009). The research reported to date has provided a body of information about printer emissions and shed light on particle formation mechanisms.
