A trajetória da UNESP no contexto da Economia Solidária

This paper aims to report on the University extension activities based on the principles of the Solidarity Economy, developed by teachers and students from several campuses of UNESP, in partnerships with other institutions and the communities involved. In addition to a brief history of the Solidarity Economy in Brazil, and the opportunities and challenges of Technological Incubators for Popular Cooperatives (ITCPs), the paper presents important considerations for an Institutional Program aimed at strengthening and expanding the role of such Incubators at UNESP.

As dificuldades de implantação de atividades experimentais investigativas no ensino de Química

Dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the educational processes of the traditional teaching has always existed, and new teaching methods have been routinely studied. The experimental investigative activity is one of those alternative practices. In this type of activity the experimentation is inserted with an investigative approach, in which the student must build the concept, with proposals that represent solutions to the excited problems. In the teaching of chemistry, specifically, the need and importance of experimentation is evident, beyond motivate students, aid in the understanding of chemical concepts relating them to reality. Realizing the contributions of this methodology for teaching and learning, through this research was conducted to understand the difficulties encountered by teachers for planning and implementation of these activities in the teaching of chemistry and therefore the reasons for the dominance of traditional teaching method. The subjects were undergraduate students of chemistry course that developed and implemented differentiated learning activities for teaching and teachers who accompanied the high school students who participated in the university extension project Inclusion Science and University students and teachers from public: Teaching and Learning Chemistry focuses on research and practice”. Through the data it was possible to identify some factors that affect and hinder the implementation of experimental activities in general, not only the investigative. However, despite the difficulties experienced by undergraduates, the majority considered the activity as an alternative teaching method interesting and innovative, able to produce interest, motivation and participation of students with subsequent learning. Infância, família e escola: análise dos significados da Infância e dos Direitos da Criança

This study aimed at analyzing the meanings of Children and Child Rights awarded by the kindergarten children and their educators, parents and teacher. Interest in the subject arose from the participation of the University Extension Project, conducted at the Department of Education, UNESP, Bauru, called The Rights of the Child: ECA in school. Since then, the question arose: to what extent we have visibility of meanings that educators and the child has on the Rights of the Child relating to the specifics of childhood? The research followed the tenets of qualitative research, methodological procedures and adopting the observation in a classroom from kindergarten (K II), semi-structured interview through leisure moments, with the class of aged five years and a questionnaire for family and teacher. The research adopted as reference material, studies of the area of Sociology of Childhood, History of Childhood, Public Policy, Legislation Related to the theme, and an overview of psychogenic to talk about the morality of children. The results showed that parents and caregivers understand childhood as a stage of child development, marked by jokes and fancies, in which the family and the school has an important role in this process. In what concerns the children's rights, there are contradictions in the legal aspects and the situation of children today. The results showed that children's childhood is characterized by recreational activities, and adults are responsible for caring for them. And it comes on the Rights of the Child noted that there is a confusion between rights and duties because they are in a phase of moral heteronomy. Centro de Convênções para a Terceira Idade em um superquadra de Brasília

A elaboração de um cento de convivência voltado para o público idoso vem de encontro com a consolidação desta faixa etária no país, que ainda se ressente da falta de locais que se adequem ao seu perfil e às suas variadas necessidades. Pensando nisto, a cidade de Brasília foi escolhida como local para a inserção de tal projeto, visando criar um eixo de ligação com a Universidade de Brasília, que detém a propriedade da última superquadra não edificada na cidade. Nesta, a construção de unidades habitacionais é importante para combater o déficit habitacional bem como minimizar a crescente especulação imobiliária na cidade. Projetar em toda sua unidade se torna um grande desafio, porém essencial para que tanto o Centro de Convivência como as habitações passem a ser utilizadas de maneira eficiente e comprovem a dinâmica da superquadra, no qual espaços públicos e privados entram em consonância e se tornam local de vivência a todos os seus moradores. O centro de convivência se destinará à realização de atividades que ofereçam oportunidades de melhoria à qualidade de vida da terceira idade bem como a realização de extensão universitária que possibilite a viabilização de estudos e atendimento a esta população. Aulas de artes, informática, dança e prática de esportes serão desenvolvidas no local, que busca através dos blocos construtivos e suas cores facilitar a cognição do idoso no espaço... Dança de salão: perspectivas de satisfação e motivos de adesão

The need to practice physical activity of any kind grows day by day. People look for studios, clubs, parks, either to practice some kind of sport, gymnastics classes, workout or a good walk. Over the last few years, another option has arived arose, which is a little different from what we are used to see. We are talking about Ballroom Dance, a new alternative for thoses who wants or needs to practice some physical activity but is looking for a different environment. Ballroom Dance is growing, thanks to the media, it has been an effective option for whom seeks to fill her free time and gains benefits such as leisure, satisfaction, health and quality of live, etc. Therefore, the objectives of this study were: investigating the reasons that lead the people to look for classes like Ballroom Dance and identify the degree of satisfaction of these students regarding Ballroom Dance classes. Thirty eight students participated in this study: some came from a dance studio from Rio Claro (SP), some from a gym academy with Ballroom Dance classes from Campo Grande (MS) and some from a Ballroom Dance Program of Unesp, Rio Claro in the community. The participants of both genders, ageing between 18 to 60 years, were enpaped on Ballroom program for at least one month. They answered a questionnaire related to the issue. After analyzing the data it was confirmed that people seeks for Ballroom Dance because they like to dance, they feel pleasure to dance, besides feeling relaxed in the activity and because dancing brought them fun. Regarding the Degree of satisfaction, all of them stated being satisfied with Ballroom Dance.
