This work presents as the central theme the management conducted by the Public Relations' professional regarding the custom relations' channels, focusing on Ombudsman. Its main objective is to discuss, reflect and establish a parallel between these activities, highlighting the importance of these channels on the organization’s communication and relationship process with their customers. Split in three chapters, it begins the discussion about the terminology in Ombudsman, from the meaning and concept of the terms to the comparison with other relationship means with the customer. It is a part of the study a brief history about organizations and their changes over the years, emphasizing the importance of customers and relations for the success of the modern day organizations, considering the Public Relations in this context. The discussion concludes establishing a parallel between the Ombudsman channels and the meaning of public relations in its management, regarding the relevancy of the subject in a highly competitive scenario, in which the customer/person, as a change agent, can be the responsible for the success or failure of organizations. The study tries to focus on showing the importance of the skills and competencies of the Public Relations for the fore mentioned channels, which are not well defined yet.

Conectando-c: a influência da internet na vida dos portadores de Hepatite C

Hepatitis C is a disease that affects approximately four million Brazilians. It is a rare disease with symptoms but with a treatment that involves marked secondary effects. The silence of their symptoms, however, socially projected, build the social imaginary figures that send feelings and prejudices, being born therefore the social stigma. This situation fundamentally affects the welfare of their subjects. In this aspect, this research traces a parallel between the situation experienced by patients with hepatitis C and the use for these individuals from the World Wide Web and its interactive tools on overcoming limits the disease and in the reconstruction of their social identities.

Os efeitos de sentido nos textos de Bob Dylan: mito ou ídolo?

Bob Dylan sempre foi identificado como um cantor de protesto, considerado o ícone, o Porta Voz de sua Geração. No entanto, em suas entrevistas ao longo de sua carreira, ele fez questão de refutar tais etiquetas. Esta pesquisa pretendeu compreender a construção do mito Bob Dylan pela mídia, expresso nas formações discursivas das entrevistas e das letras das canções de protesto e examinar a organização dos sentidos de suas entrevistas. O estudo do contexto da época - o período dos anos 1960 nos Estados Unidos da América - permitiu aprofundar a discussão, compreendendo os motivos pelos quais existe um conflito entre o que Bob Dylan faz e o que ele fala. A análise semiótica greimasiana foi o instrumento adotado para desvelar - ou, em uma perspectiva sempre cética como convém à ciência como convém à ciênciaq, para oferecer subsídios que ajudem a explicar a postura contrastante entre o significado das letras e as declarações nas entrevistas. Ao final da pesquisa espera-se ter contribuído para que a relação entre artista e público, mediada pelos meios de comunicação, seja pensada de maneira menos ingênua e mais aprofundada, discutindo a formação de mitos e como eles explicam determinados comportamentos na sociedade

The environment of digital mobile communication is on the rise, allowing more communication strategies in public relations to be enhanced, in order to allow effective dialogue, relationship and interaction between organizations and their stakeholders. Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to analyze digital communications, especially a locative media tool that has been gaining ground in communication activities: Quick Response Code. In a world that is increasingly working with software, the need arises for effective approaches that encourage software reuse. The reuse practice must be aligned to a set of practices, procedures and methodologies that create a stable and high quality product. These questions produce new styles and approaches in the software engineering. In this way, this thesis aims to address concepts related to development and model-driven architecture. The model-driven approach provides significant aspects of the automated development, which helps it with produced models built in the specification phase. The definition of terms such as model, architecture and platform makes the focus becomes clearer, because for MDA and MDD is important to split between technical and business issues. Important processes are covered, so you can highlight the artifacts that are built into each stage of model-driven development. The stages of development: CSM, PIM, PSM and ISM, detailing the purpose of each phase in oriented models, making the end of each stage are gradually produced artifacts that may be specialized. The models are handled by different prospects for modeling, abstracting the concepts and building a set of details that portrays a specific scenario. This retraction can be a graphical or textual representation, however, in most cases is chosen a language modeling, for example, UML. In order to provide a practical view, this dissertation shows some tools that improve the construction of models and the code generate that assists in the development, keeping the documentation systemic. Finally, the paper presents a case study that refers to the theoretical aspects discussed throughout the dissertation, therefore it is expected that the architecture and the model-driven development may be able to explain important features to consider in software engineering

Diversidade de aranhas em Mimosa bimucronata(DC.) Kuntze (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae): efeito da arquitetura da planta e implicações da predação em interações tri-tróficas

O presente estudo teve como objetivo determinar a diversidade, a composição e a riqueza de espécies de aranhas e suas relações com as diferentes fenofases de Mimosa bimucronata. Visou também comparar a abundância de aranhas entre ramos com inflorescência e com frutos, e investigar se os níveis de infestação de Acanthoscelides schrankiae são reduzidos ou intensificados (alta taxa de predação intraguilda) devido à presença de aranhas. Foram coletadas 777 aranhas, distribuídas em 140 morfoespécies, com uma grande proporção de indivíduos jovens (ninfas). No total, treze famílias de aranhas foram identificadas, sendo que a família Araneidae foi a mais representativa em número de indivíduos coletados e em número de morfoespécies (riqueza). Outras famílias bem representativas foram Anyphaenidae, Thomisidae, Salticidae e Theridiidae. Quando as proporções de aranhas encontradas em ramos com inflorescência e com frutos foram comparadas, não se constatou diferença significativa, mostrando que o tipo de ramo não afetou a abundância das aranhas. No entanto, os estágios fenológicos parecem ter influenciado a riqueza e a diversidade em uma das áreas, uma vez que correlações positivas significativas foram encontradas entre a riqueza e diversidade de morfoespécies e os valores mensais da fenologia reprodutiva. Assim, é possível que o surgimento do conjunto das estruturas reprodutivas, como ramos com botões, flores e frutos, aumentou a complexidade estrutural do habitat, interferindo significativamente na riqueza e diversidade de aranhas. Quando o número médio de orifícios deixados por parasitóides e bruquídeos foi comparado entre áreas, tipos de agregados de frutos (com e sem a presença de teias de aranhas), e considerando a interação entre os fatores, constatou-se diferença significativa apenas entre as áreas, ... Planejamento e organização das atividades de manutenção em instalações elétricas prediais e seus componentes

Are presented on this paper, concepts of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenances, following the prerequisites for planning and implementation of a maintenance plan. You also find the theoretical introduction of some measurement instruments accompanied by the necessary and recommended activities during routine maintenances of the electrical equipments in a building installation. Using case study, it is possible to assess a real maintenance plan applied to two occupied floors in a financial institution. The developing of a case study consolidates the effectiveness of the present concepts on this theoretical introduction and shows that the current maintenance plan can be improved in order to obtain better results on company productivity and reliability of equipments. As a conclusion, we can notice the importance of a solid maintenance plan and the need of including this theme on the graduation in Electrical Engineering

This research has the purpose of highlighting one of the acting areas of the public relations' professional, ensuring that he has enough competence to develop his work within an organization, implementing actions and programs in pursuit of a sustainable growth. The study starts with an analysis of the organizations and their communication process to further expand the understanding of the concept of sustainable development and finally addressing the role of public relations and the scenario organizational that it is envolved. In the globalized world we live in, our relationships are mediated by the capitalism: economic system that is concerned with the higher production seeking only profits. Thus, some organizations - acting in accordance with this model, end up don't caring about the environment around them, using it only like an instrument for achieving their goals. However, because this type of action, the contemporary society is facing serious environmental problems, fact that arouses the attention of civil society members and international organs, concerned to combine progress with sustainable development. The public relations' professional, concerned about the concretization of a concept and favorable institutional identities, besides the obvious envolvement with environment, can act in defense of this, implementing policies and campaigns ecologically correct for sustainability

Through the study case of the Squares Monsenhor Sarrion and Nove de Julho, public squares on Presidente Prudente downtown, where many types of uses occur in the same space with function of organization and reception of several fluxes generated because the centrality caused from downtown. In this context, is necessary re-project the squares, with new purpose of an urban and landscape project, which generates harmonic spaces of passage and permanence, which values the public edifications in the around areas and re-qualified the form of the squares, adapting to the new uses: To organize the public transportation traffic, the urban terminal; to organize the vehicles traffic, the lowering of the Avenue Coronel Marcondes and, mainly, to organize the traffic of pedestrian, the continuity and the physic integration of the squares, through new forms, urban furniture and design to the downtown public spaces

A organização dos espaços físicos das instituições regulares de ensino e suas contribuições no aprendizado das crianças portadoras de necessidades especiais

O presente trabalho tem como proposta discutir a respeito da organização dos espaços públicos destinados às pessoas portadoras de necessidades especiais. Procura analisar como a questão da acessibilidade vem sendo tratada, nas escolas e no meio urbano, além de identificar, no município de Rio Claro quais as adaptações/adequações foram realizadas recentemente, no sentido de garantir maior acessibilidade aos seus munícipes. O objetivo é o de analisar como se dá a adequação desses espaços e sua contribuição para a vida das pessoas. Constitui-se em pesquisa qualitativa de referencial bibliográfico pautada no levantamento de autores que problematizem a questão do espaço físico, e suas relações com a inclusão, a deficiência e a acessibilidade. Contando ainda com pesquisa de campo e registro fotográfico das adequações no Centro Comercial da cidade de Rio Claro

Informática no ensino fundamental e médio: investigando o uso de computadores na escola

Com o passar do tempo e com a maior evolução da informática devido à criação de computadores cada vez mais potentes foram feitos diversos investimentos em ferramentas para transmissão de informações a distância. Dentre essas ferramentas estão softwares para interação usuário-máquina, programas que auxiliam a realização de processos de maneira eficaz e automatizada e a internet, que possibilitou conectar vários usuários em todo o mundo. O uso da informática é cada vez mais necessário em todas as áreas e isso não é diferente na educação. Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar as condições de 10 escolas localizadas em três cidades do Estado de São Paulo: Campinas, Leme e Botucatu, com relação à utilização da informática no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos e como recurso aos professores e funcionários para o auxilio a informatização do ambiente escolar e desenvolvimento de novas práticas de ensino. Por meio das respostas foi possível fazer um levantamento das condições do uso da informática nas escolas visitadas identificando as deficiências ainda encontradas com relação à utilização dos computadores. Nota-se ainda nas escolas, um equívoco sobre a real função do computador que muitas vezes é confundido como simples entretenimento ao invés de um grande mecanismo para o processo de desenvolvimento cognitivo e aprendizagem.
