Significados e expectativas de crianças das camadas populares em relação à escolarização

Nowadays, we understand the childhood as a result of historical and social changes. This work aims to comprehend representations and expectations made by children from the popular classes in the initial years of Fundamentaql Education. We conducted a research with six students from a public school that attends children from urban popular layer's families. The research examines the meanings and representations of educational practices developed in the relationships established among teachers, students and families through their life stories. Among the results, we can say that the environment of differentiation in the school id perceived to the students because they introject teacher's representations about their performance. Scientific studies show that children crystallize a positive image of the shool when the speech and posture of the institution value and encourage learning. However, the students are challenged to produce better results in order to participate in extracurricular activities, which they are excluded todue indiscipline or learning difficulties. The mean of the schooling is highly influenced by the performance of students and also by the attitude of educators in the family and in the school. The theoretical review points out that when students have a good performance, the merit is attributed to stress and ease they have to acquire the learning contents. In other hand, struggling students or with a lag of content explains the academic problems stems from the lack of capacity and potential for acquisition of learning compatible with age, defining schooling as something necessary for training, but which is inaccessible in their life stories

Expectativas de pais, professores e crianças acerca da escolarização no contexto das camadas populares

In regards to the context of the schooling for less the most favored, the school did not appear as intellectual instrument, and yes as prerequisite to take care of to the new requirements of the work market that if modernized the great social changes together with. The school, in turn, if puts in charge them to know scientific, and, for times, them norms of effective behavior in the society and the familiar group, them feelings and moral values, in a transposition of the “cultural capital” and it “capital stock” that passed by generations. This work, therefore, had as objective to study the expectations of schooling of the child in pertaining to school age, in the universes of the family and the school, from the speech of the agents of this process (parents, responsible, professors and the children) and of some practical educative referring to the schooling of the child, leaving of estimated of that the school is a democratic space, with equality of rights and the duties. Mediated for cultural a historical boarding, one searched to interpret the pertaining to school and familiar context of the participants, by means of a counterpoint with the studied bibliography, being this presented throughout the work. The research was of qualitative character, the data had been collected by means of comment in two classrooms, one of the third and one of the room year. Half-structuralized interviews had been made, that had been recorded e, later, transcribing. The environment of the research was a public school of the basic education of a city of the interior of the State of São Paulo, that received children proceeding from families of the urban popular classrooms. The results of the analysis of the data point that the professors present a vision of ideal model of family and pupil that does not correspond to the reality of the context of these and of the new nomenclatures of the familiar order... Uma análise empírica do setor bancário, níveis 1 e novo mercado das práticas de governança corporativa, baseada nas expectativas dos agentes

O presente trabalho apresenta em sua essência conceitos relacionados as práticas de Governança Corporativa no mundo e, principalmente, no Brasil. Tais práticas são leis que ajudam na Bolsa de Valores, trazendo mais transparência e confiança para os agentes e está desenvolvido no segundo capítulo. Tais práticas, então, afetarão diretamente as expectativas dos agentes a investirem seus capitais de forma mais segura. Para tanto, é necessário ter uma ideia geral de como são afetadas tais expectativas e é onde está desenvolvido o primeiro capítulo. Para concluir, é feita uma análise empírica, baseada em séries temporais, de econometria para auxiliar se o que a teoria nos diz é comprovada na prática e são usadas como base os Bancos Nossa Caixa e Banco Bradesco

Expectativas sobre os efeitos do uso de álcool e padrão de beber em alunos de ensino médio

Studies have shown that adolescents begin to make use of alcoholic beverages earlier and excessively, a behavior which has several negative consequences. Thus, the present study aims at investigating whether the expectations they have for the effects of alcohol consumption are high or low and if there is a relationship between expectation and consumption pattern. AUDIT and IECPA were applied as data collection instruments. The first indentifies the pattern of alcohol use and the second investigates the expectations the subjects have in relation to the use of alcohol. The results of this study, differently than others, do not evidence the positive relationship between binge-drinking and high expectations about the use of alcohol.

Expectativas de participantes, professores de educação física e assistentes sociais de um projeto social esportivo de pólo aquático

Currently there are numerous social projects scattered through out the country, including the sport, for the most part, aimed at children and teens considered at social vulnerability. These projects end up having as main guiding sports, these in turn take several purposes, among them, the sport recreation/socialization and professionalization of sport, which often end up being worked disassociated from one of another, forgetting that, in the same place, these different purposes can live therefore are the subjects that give meaning to their practice. In this sense, this research sought to understand the meanings that the participants in a social sports project water polo attribute to the practice. This project happens in a provincial city of São Paulo, serving about 2.300 children and teens and has as main objectives the social inclusion and training of high-performance athlete. The research, qualitative approach was characterized by an exploratory study and used the interview as collection technique. The study included 40 children and adolescents attending the project, as well as two social workers and two physical education teachers that working on the project. A gestão democrática da educação: expectativas da escola sobre a participação da família

The objective of this study was to verify the importance of family involvement as an element of democratic school management challenging legislation, intellectual discourse and the perspective of school staff. For this purpose, we analyzed the information obtained by means of instrument PDESchool applied in the public schools of a medium-sized city in the state of São Paulo. We found that the school teams identify school / family interaction as an important factor in the work to be developed, although families show little involvement in the management of school units.

União: como ela é percebida através das expectativas e idealizações de homens e mulheres

In this work we intend to study how union is understood by men and women from their idealizations and expectations. We aim to survey how the contemporary society discourse about union is interpreted, absorbed and experienced by couples who are united for a certain time and those individuals who intend to establish a stable union, as well as whether there is a connection between the romantic view of peer relationships and the reality experienced by people. In other words, we aim to find out which influences the social changes bring to the conjugal relationship and what expectations they bring to it, to establish if the gender affects the relationship expectations, and analyze to which extent and how these expectations contribute to the development and maintenance of conjugal conflicts.

Movimento jogo e brincadeira na educação infantil: as expectativas das famílias

Childhood is a theme that has attracted many controversies and discussions, and winning approaches to the increasingly large over time: biological, psychological, educational, welfare and, more recently, sociological. It is known that the movement, play and game activities are important recurrent and integral development of children, and should be present prominently in early childhood institutions. Based on these assumptions is that this study aimed to analyze the didactic-pedagogical principles postulated by the law, official guidelines didactic teaching and literature, with regard to meeting the needs of children in early childhood education. Unveiling the expectations of the families responsible for children in relation to early childhood education, especially with regard to movement, and play games and compare to what extent these expectations turn away or close to the guidelines on teaching and pedagogical movement, games and postulated in official documents, legislation and literature. To this end, we carried out literature search, selection and analysis of texts relevant to the understanding of the theme. Fieldwork was conducted in a Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Full-time (Emei) of Bauru/SP, and involved the analysis of the Political-Pedagogical Project of the institution, semi-structured interviews with five teachers and five children in the family responsible for Garden II (ages 5 to 6 years). Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis of Bardin and triangulated by the confrontation of literature/legislation, the Pedagogical Political Project of the institution and the expectations of families/guardians. O profissional de educação física adaptada em contextos não formais: expectativas e realidades em diferentes perspectivas

This study aimed to comprehend the expectancies and realities in Adapted Motor Activities (AMA), of physical education (PE) professionals, public administration inside special institutions of people with disabilities (PwD), families of addicted people with disabilities and independent people with disabilities, living in Muzambinho City/MG/ Brazil, comparing the reality and expectation of EFA in non formal contexts. Participants were selected using criteria related to the central subjects of this research (PwD), totaling 26 individuals. Data were collected through interviews with audio recording and full transcription. It was found that the reality of APE has been moving in opposite ways than expectations, especially regarding the inclusion in non – formal contexts, starting the needing of reflections and discussions to acting in AMA and PE.

Transformando a extensão universitária de Golbol Unesp/Lar Escola Santa Luzia (Bauru-SP) em uma equipe de iniciação paradesportiva: análise das expectativas e perspectivas de praticantes e monitores

O Golbol é um esporte desenvolvido para deficientes visuais (DV), no qual o intuito é poder oferecer uma possibilidade adaptada de esporte coletivo, que atenda às necessidades sensoriais do indivíduo DV. Nesse trabalho, nosso objetivo se encontra em verificar e comparar por meio de um questionário estruturado, em escala Likert de 4 pontos, o nível médio de respostas dos participantes a respeito da situação do projeto de extensão e da possibilidade de criarmos uma equipe competitiva e representativa a partir das vivências já estipuladas por estes praticantes. Método: Foi aplicada a avaliação em 12 sujeitos, durante uma sessão de atividades no mês de outubro de 2013. Todos os princípios de ética foram respeitado, seguindo as normas e exigências de nosso comitê de ética local. Dos 12 participantes, 05 eram praticantes DVs do projeto e 07 foram os monitores e envolvidos com a supervisão e docência no projeto. Resultados: Dos resultados encontrados, a partir da relação das respostas dos participantes e da análise descritiva dos itens respondidos e percentuais da amostra, destacamos grande pretensão nas práticas do golbol e na formação de uma equipe competitiva, que condiz com a análise das respostas dos monitores do projeto. Conclusão: Os itens analisados no presente estudo indicam que as expectativas dos envolvidos estão alinhadas com os reais objetivos do projeto. No entanto, nota-se a necessidade de pesquisas futuras que subsidiem estratégias e metodologias adequadas a este público e que permitam mais especificidade a partir da criação de uma equipe representativa e de caráter competitivo para esta modalidade.
